Bi-Rotor mill with mobile hammers
The MMB1000 Mill from Franzoi Metalmeccanica S.r.l. is a mill with bi-rotor mobile hammers. It can be adapted with different equipment to make it suitable for use for specific tasks.
The key components are:
1. Carcass with two foldable sections
2. Rotor with shaft and supports
3. Internal components
Carcass: The carcass comprises a lower and upper section, the latter formed of two folding sections that open hydraulically. When opened, it is possible to access the rotor and the internally installed components. The entire carcass is manufactured from welded steel.
Rotor: The MMB1000 rotor is a so-called disc rotor. These are fixed to the shaft so as to be demountable. The external edge of the disks includes holes into which pins are fixed with oscillating hammers.
Internal components: The internal components are inserted onto a guide located inside the carcass. The guide has the purpose of providing anti-wear protection. The installed components can include: impact shaft, grid bars, packs of grids, perforated blades, etc.
